NIVVA is an audiovisual project coming from Prague - but instead of your typical pop diva, it is led by a digital avatar.
NIVVA’s debut EP “Easy” came out on Czech “Bad Names” in February 2020 and quickly afterward got invited for its world premiere at the Lunchmeat Festival. NIVVA’s songs explore the limits of intimacy and tell the story of a digital avatar that breaks the character. They reflect on the future of AI and the omnipresence of algorithms in our lives - and how they slowly occupy every aspect of it.
All packed in the form of unorthodox straightforward pop right from the uncanny valley - warm and familiar yet with an eerie twist.
