Through practical exercises and guided experimentation, attendees will gain insight into real-time workflows, generative graphics, projection mapping principles, and the creation of responsive visual environments. The workshop encourages an open, exploratory approach—bridging technical skills with artistic intuition and performative thinking.
Requirements:
Hardware: Mac or Pc and a 3-button mouse
Software: Latest version of Unity installed, free download here: https://unity.com/en/download?ref=personal
OS: Windows 10 + // Mac OS X 12 +
A Madmapper temporary license will be shared to all the participants.
You would learn how to design and create immersive audiovisual experiences using real-time tools. Specifically, you would gain: Foundations of immersive media – understanding spatial thinking, 360° environments, and how audiences experience interactive spaces. Real-time graphics in Unity – building interactive 3D scenes, working with live rendering, and integrating audiovisual elements. Projection mapping with MadMapper – mapping visuals onto physical surfaces and architectural spaces. Live visual systems – creating visuals that respond in real time to sound, input, or performance. 360° video workflows – producing and integrating immersive video into interactive environments. Performance-based AV practice – designing and performing live audiovisual sets.
Overall, you’d develop both technical skills (software + real-time systems) and creative strategies for spatial, interactive storytelling in immersive environments.
Designed for 3D artists, motion designers, and visual creatives, this focused session expands your toolkit with real-time and generative techniques while fostering a culture of experimentation and live visual performance.

An Argentinian digital artist and industrial designer based in Berlin. His practice spans lectures, workshops, audiovisual performances, and video art, exploring new paradigms of digital culture. Rooted in remix culture and real-time AV, his work blends post-work anthropology with abstract forms drawn from industrial 3D modeling, often reflecting social anxieties and dystopias through colorful, chaotic metaphysics. His work has been shown at Berliner Festspiele, CTM/transmediale, Llum BCN, and EMA Expo (MMOMA), with talks and performances at institutions including Centre Pompidou/IRCAM, Sonar+D, MUTEK, and ZKM. He has taught at UdK Berlin, Kunsthochschule Weißensee, and NYU’s Global Master of Interactive Media Arts, focusing on real-time visualization and audiovisual performance.
